Looking at Facebook on one of the few occasions that I do, I discovered an invite to an event later in the week. I had not heard of any of the bands so I listened to two of them on Bandcamp, deciding that it was worth a punt.
On the night I was very disappointed by the first two bands, who played technical and empty metalcore, including one involving two of my musician friends. The headline band though made the evening worthwhile playing a progladen set. They were Milk White Throat.
