The evening entertainment for Colin’s 60th was folk-metal band Ravenhymn. Having caught them at Warhorns early last year, I had wanted to see them again. Unfortunately, for one reason or another, I hadn’t been able to, so, when I found out that they were playing I was very pleased and decided to break the break from gig photography to catch them.
They played two sets, with a short interval in between, to enable the charity raffle to be drawn and the band to take on refreshments.
Their folk music encouraged people to dance, including some of the younger Black Swans and friends dancing the Macarena to Bear Dance (one of the tunes the team dances to).
It was a good end to an enjoyable weekend.
