After all of the sides had been around Chichester city centre, dancing at different stands, they congregated in Priory Park for massed dances. Each side showcased several dances for the crowds (and each other).
The host side demonstrated why they are Sword and Morris side.
Alton danced with one of the Fleet Morris side (who dances with them at other times).
Fleet showed what they could do.
Black Swan Morris had fun.
Black Swan invited others to join them a couple of times, the first with Fleet and Alton eagerly joining in, the second with Hook Eagle, Box Hill and Mythago.
On the grass Hook Eagle Morris showed their talents.
Box Hill Bedlam danced along as their musicians played, dropping in Black Sabbath’s Iron Man into the music.
Mythago followed them, later doing Turncoat, with their musicians giving us John Barleycorn..
Over the other side, Jackstraws showed off.
Winchester waved hankies.
