Despite putting the gig photography on hiatus, I have been tempted to shoot some events. The temptation got too much with this one, as I wanted to shoot Artemisia Nathair playing harp. It was an interesting evening with four widely different and entertaining acts.
First up was Aflo doing a superb spoken word set, making me realise that I have missed this sort of performance.
Next up was Arty, who, despite nerves, played a set that enthralled all there.
Promoter Laurie Black doing a Deadly Synths set which took us through a brief history of synths, something close to my heart musically.
The final set of the evening was provided by Rottweiler, an energetic five-piece whose vocalist’s outfit took me back to the 70s.
