After the sides left the Pavilion Gardens for the various stands, I chose to head for the Pump House in The Lanes south of North Street. I was able to shoot all of the sides as the programme brought them all to that stand over the rest of the day.
The first session opened with Knots of May who are celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year and were selling badges celebrating the fact.
They were followed by Hammersmith Morris, whose energetic dancing enthralled the audience.
Knots of May stayed put and were joined by Black Powder Morris and Rockhopper Morris for the second session.
Over the break for lunch Mythago and Cuckoo’s Nest arrived for the third session.
The final session outside the Pump House found Mythago being joined by a returning Black Powder and the arrival of the host side, Brighton Morris Men.
